Training Superintendent
Experience Required:
- Class 1 Certificate of Competency (Marine Chief Engineer)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as Chief Engineer on board ocean-going vessels
- Prior experience in training, mentoring, or instructional roles is highly desirable
- Sound knowledge of international maritime regulations (ISM, ISPS, MLC, etc.)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and auditing abilities
- Passionate about continuous improvement and crew development
Additional Requirements:
- Location- Mumbai
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver onboard training programs aligned with company policies and international maritime standards
- Conduct onboard audits to assess compliance, identify training needs, and ensure best practices are followed
- Evaluate training effectiveness and provide actionable feedback for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with fleet management and crewing departments for targeted training interventions
- Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring crew members are well-versed in procedures and emergency protocols
- Develop and update training materials and manuals in line with evolving regulations
- Mentor and guide junior officers and engineers, fostering career growth
- Ensure training initiatives meet and exceed customer expectations
